Clashes in Antigone      There were three fundamental clashes that made Antigone and Creon conflict as savagely as they did. To begin with, was the contention of the individual versus the state, where Antigone spoke to the individual and Creon the lord, the state. The subsequent clash can be depicted as following ones still, small voice and standards as opposed to observing the law carefully. In this contention Antigone settles on choices dependent on her inner voice and standards while Creon is the exacting well behaved ruler.
